Malaysia : BINA PURI wins RM123.32mil Sabah Department of Works Deal

A RM123.32mil Sabah Department of Works (JKR) deal has been bagged by Bina Puri Sdn Bhd, a unit of Bina Puri Holdings Bhd to fit out Blocks A and B of the state administrative complex in Kota Kinabalu.
On April 20, Sabah's JKR has given a letter of award to the country's integrated civil and building construction service provider and it is expected that the work would be completed within a year.
This year, the group had won RM543mil in projects and was optimistic of securing further projects by year-end.
Bina Puri director Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng adds,"In Sabah alone, we have completed projects worth more than RM1.5bil and are undertaking on-going projects there worth approximately RM800mil. With RM9bil allocated by the federal government for infrastructure projects in Sarawak and Sabah, our expertise in the construction division will continue to play an important part in the development of Sabah,”.
