Kuwait : JAZEERA AIRWAYS bids to procure 35% share in Kuwait Airways

The organization said in an announcement that Jazeera Airways has presented a solicitation to gain a 35% of Kuwait Airways stake under the procurement of the law No. 6/2008.
Jazeera has displayed a letter of intent (LoI) to purchase the stake,it is relied upon to be the first privatization by the government that surpasses USD 3 billion.
The carrier’s chairman Marwan Boodai said that the organization tries to purchase this stake to build up its facilities to meet the desires of Kuwaiti individuals, the announcement added.
He noticed that the solicitation of obtaining came in accordance with the nation’s approach looking to urge the private area to add to advancing the national economy.
