United States : USAF taps Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems to support 3DELRR system

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems has been tapped by the U.S. Air Force to support its Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar System (3DELRR).
The deal will see Raytheon delivering engineering and production development for the manufacturing of representative units.
The company will carry out the work in Andover, Massachusetts, and complete it by the scheduled date of Nov. 30, 2020.
This is a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract worth around $52.7 million.
It results from a competitive bid, as the Air Force received two bids.
